How to make video calls with Microsoft TEAMS via Microsoft EDGE browser on LINUX

Although Microsoft TEAMS [1] video conferencing software is now available for Linux as package (.deb, .rpm) [2] and flatpak [3],  I could not make it work because the mic did not work or the app would not open the  MS TEAMS link, which I received. However, MS Teams video calls work after installing the Microsoft EDGE browser, which is now also available for Linux as developmental version [4]. One has to copy the SM Teams link in the address line of Microsoft EDGE browser, and one will be asked whether to open it in the browser or download the desktop app (It will still not recognize that MS Teams is already installed).  If one chooses running the call in the browser, the conference will be successfully started.
